Used in Eastern and Northern European cooking both the seeds and greens are edible, but with different flavors.
Growing instructions: Start indoors 6-8 weeks prior to last frost or direct-seed when the soil is warm. Like other herbs, give them full sun and adequate moisture for best results. Leaves are good with fish and vegetables. Use seeds to flavor pickles, soups and hearty dishes like stuffed cabbage.
