Flower Arranging Classes

Sept 18 - Late Summer Blooms ($70) featuring locally grown flowers

Nov 6 - Bounty of the Harvest ($90) learn to make a long and low centerpiece using sustainable floristry techniques & gain the skill to create one for your Thanksgiving table.
Location: Arts Collaborative Medford - 162 Mystic Ave Medford, MA & Time: 7pm - 9pm
Flowers & vases/containers will be provided, but please bring scissors or a sharp pair of garden snips (we will have some, but likely not enough for all participants)

Class includes

a brief lecture with slides covering design basics of color choice, proportion and balance
an overview of New England seasonal flowers (with a focus on fall flowers)
floral arranging demonstration
hands-on instruction as you build your own floral arrangement to take home!
Space is limited to 12 students per class, but if we have enough interest, we may schedule a 2nd date.
