Bespoke flowers just for you

If you’ve made your way to this page it’s because you are an existing customer of Garden and Roads and/or you are signed-up for our newsletter. That means you probably already know that we are different from many florists…. We don’t have a store and we don’t have pre-made florals. We make everything to order.
This summer we are focusing on our subscription customers and events (primarily weddings), so we suspended the ability to order a bouquet or floral arrangement, BUT we miss our customers, so we enabling ordering for existing customers for flower delivery some Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursdays. Please give us a couple days notice to gather/harvest the flowers for your order (48 hour or more is great). To see what’s blooming now, check Instagram or bottom of the home page.
Florals below represent the price range in size and types of flowers.
We will confirm your order via email and email an invoice for payment. Contact us if you have questions or don’t receive a response & invoice within 24 hours.

how to care for your cut flowers:
Keep them out of direct sunlight
Even temperatures (keep away from radiators or the flow of forced hot air heater/or AC)
Keep away from fruit (especially apples, bananas as the give off ethylene, a gas that will shorten bloom time)
Change the water every other day
Give stems a fresh cut before they go back into the vase
Make sure your scissors and vase are clean before starting
Flower food/preservative will also lengthen the bloom time of your cut flowers. As part of our ethos to use methods gentle to the environment, we do not provide little packets of flower food, because who needs the extra packaging when all it contains is carbohydrates (sugar), acidifier and anti-bacterial components and you can easily make your own. Here is a simple recipe:
1 quart warm water (warm water helps the sugar dissolve)
1 tablespoons lemon juice or white vinegar (strained)
1/2 tablespoon sugar
1/4-1/2 teaspoon bleach – less is more with the bleach
